Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sign up to use Sound Relief?

To sign up to our free trial, all you have to do is register. It’s as simple as that with no commitment required. When your 7-day free trial ends, you will be asked if you would like to continue with the therapy; from there you can select which Sound Relief plan you would like to purchase.

Once you purchase a plan, your subscription will roll over every month/three months. You can cancel your subscription at any time in the “My Account” section of your dashboard.

Can I claim Sound Relief through my insurance company?

Not currently. We are investigating this possibility and will update customers if the situation changes.

Why do your subscriptions roll over?

Our subscriptions roll over to make access to therapy as seamless as possible for customers. Don't forget that you can cancel your subscription at any time with a simple click in the “Manage Plan” part of your dashboard.

How much is Sound Relief?

The monthly tinnitus tracker and daily diary are always free. As a registered user on restoredhearing.com or the Sound Relief App, you can use both features without limit.

We also have a 1-month plan ($29) and a 3-month plan ($79) which both include unlimited use of our Sound Relief tinnitus sound therapy on top of the basic features mentioned above.

Is the sound the same all the time?

The sound therapy is the same all the time as this is the design proven as part of our trial. We are working on an expanded offering for 2016.

I have hearing loss. Can I use Sound Relief?

While we had people with mild, moderate and extreme hearing loss take part in our trial, it is difficult to give an answer without assessing each case individually. Many people with hearing loss will experience a beneficial effect, but it will depend on the extent of the hearing loss and, perhaps, on the source of the tinnitus.

It’s best to consult your doctor or audiologist for advice before beginning to use sound therapy.
